Studio Reveal: Custom Purple Mirror Art for Lash Better

Studio Reveal: Custom Purple Mirror Art for Lash Better

Today is a very special reveal because I am sharing my first custom piece created exclusively for an amazing business: Lash Better. Bringing Visual Dopamine into a commercial or creative space is such a joyful process, and I could not wait to design something that perfectly captured the energy of their brand.

A front-facing view of a custom hand-drawn artwork for the business Lash Better by Design by Nissa. The piece features the Lash Better logo in the center, surrounded by bright pink, blue, and purple swirly, floral-like patterns on a deep purple mirror acrylic base. The highly reflective artwork is displayed in a 12 by 12 inch decorated frame with an 8 by 8 inch mat opening, hanging on a wall and catching the light.

The Vision and Process This piece started with a deep, highly reflective purple mirror acrylic sheet. To make the brand the true focal point, I hand-drew the Lash Better logo right in the center. From there, I built the energy outward, wrapping the logo in my signature swirly, floral-like patterns and curves.

I used a vibrant palette of blue, purple, and bright pink. The way these colors float and weave over that deep purple mirror creates a stunning, glass-like depth. I filmed the entire start-to-finish process, and there is something so incredibly satisfying about watching the blank mirror transform into a finished, glowing piece of analog art.

The Final Display
To complete the vision, this piece is housed in a beautiful 12x12 inch decorated frame, professionally matted to an 8x8 inch opening. Seeing it finally hanging on the wall and catching the light as you walk past is exactly why I love creating on mirror acrylic. It brings a dynamic, shifting, and wildly positive energy to the room.
