Studio Reveal: The Jewel-Toned Joy of "Midnight Berry"

If you read my recent post about the "Visual Dopamine" philosophy, you know how much I love creating art that actively interacts with the light in a room. Today, I am so thrilled to introduce a brand new piece that takes that reflection to a whole new level: "Midnight Berry."
The Magic of the Blue Mirror
For this piece, I stepped away from my usual foil cardstock and reached for something with an incredibly deep, rich shine, a Deep Blue Mirror Acrylic sheet.
Standard mirrors reflect exactly what is in front of them, but this deep blue acrylic tints the reflection, creating a moody, vibrant, jewel-toned atmosphere before the paint even touches the surface.
A Swirly, Berry-Toned Floral
On top of that brilliant blue mirror, I brought back my absolute favorite organic, swirly, and floral-inspired flow.
I used a carefully chosen palette featuring a couple of shades of blue, beautiful vibrant pinks, and rich purples. The way these "berry" tones interlock and swirl across the blue mirrored background creates such a joyful, energetic piece. As you walk past it, the mirror catches the light, making the pinks and purples absolutely pop!
The Details
"Midnight Berry" is a substantial, gorgeous piece. It is housed in a 14x14 inch decorated frame, and professionally matted to an 8x8 inch opening. It's the perfect size to be a striking focal point on a gallery wall or a joyful pop of color on a shelf.
