Works in Progress: A Closer Look at the Details

Right now in the Cleveland studio, three new pieces are starting to take shape. I recently shared a quick video zooming in on the early details, just a sneak peek at the organic curves and the way the light is already catching the surface.

Creating this kind of art is all about the fine details. Every single line is drawn entirely by hand before it ever hits the light. I’m pairing my signature swirly, floral-inspired patterns with highly reflective foil and mirror bases. Even in these early stages, you can see how the materials interact with the lighting in the room to create that shifting, 3D effect. It’s a meticulous, 100% analog process, and watching the layers build is a daily hit of visual dopamine.

These three pieces aren't quite ready for the gallery wall just yet. I'm letting the organic flow dictate where they go next.

If you want to see the final reveal and be the first to know when these originals are available, make sure you're signed up for the studio list or following along on Instagram. More to come soon!
